Rod
Bespoke Furniture & WorkshopFounder of the original business and still actively involved today. Rod works on bespoke furniture and specialist joinery, as well as producing hand-drawn plans and details when required.
TFS has grown from a woodworking business into a local kitchen, bedroom, tile and appliance specialist, while keeping the practical, hands-on approach that has shaped the business from the start.

Rod started Pine Design in 1985, with Neil joining in 1988. The business has changed and grown since then, but practical woodworking and hands-on problem solving have remained part of TFS throughout.
From Pine Design in the 1980s to TFS Hinckley today, the business has developed gradually around the people, skills and services customers need.
Rod started Pine Design from a passion for woodworking, making fitted furniture and bespoke pieces.
After gaining woodworking experience elsewhere, Neil joined Rod and continued developing his skills in furniture making and installation.
The business moved into a new phase, with Neil focusing increasingly on design, sales and guiding customers through their projects.
David joined with previous building-site experience and continued learning woodworking and fitted furniture alongside Rod and Neil. Jasmine also joined and developed into the CAD and administration role she handles today.
Tom joined the team and trained in the TFS way of building and fitting kitchens and fitted furniture.
Ben joined the fitting team, combining on-the-job training with college. The same year, David became a partner in the business alongside Rod and Neil.
Gayle joined to look after bookkeeping and office support — including making sure everyone gets paid.
The tile side became part of the business and Mitch joined to manage tile sales, ordering and trade supplies.
Finn joined as a trainee fitter and continues to build his skills working alongside the fitting team.
Plans, practical workshop knowledge and carefully made details still sit behind the finished rooms you see today.
